Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure the reliability and performance of systems.
Design and implement automated monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on users.
Implement and maintain infrastructure as code for deployment and configuration management.
Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning for infrastructure components.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production issues.
Collaborate in the design and implementation of scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in site reliability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of infrastructure as code concepts and tools.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Understanding of networking principles and protocols.
Knowledge of security best practices in infrastructure design.
Previous experience with incident response and post-incident analysis.
Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator).
