The OTA engineer is responsible for working with a global automaker in enabling their OTA campaigns and reporting its status to key stakeholders. Perform analysis and record and track software bugs to closure. Work cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities for product integrity and cloud functionality. Perform functional testing to each offboard interface during the OTA update.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders for successful OTA operations.
• Testing of software/firmware supporting cloud architecture.
• Design, develop and build offboard validation test cases.
• Perform analysis and record and track software bugs to closure.
• Work cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities for product integrity and cloud functionality.
• Perform functional testing to each offboard interface during the OTA update.
• Performing validation utilizing benches.
• Running automation testing scripts to perform multiple tests.
Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications
• Automotive Connected and OTA testing or Integration experience.
• Experience with managing OTA operations.
• Experience in testing OTA functionality.
• Hands on experience in testing OTA functionality across different ECUs.
• Experience testing offboard functionality and OTA performance.
• Working knowledge in python scripting to perform automated testing is good to have.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
· 3+ years’ experience in analyst experience.
· Experience managing OTA campaigns and operations.
· Experience with projects involving Client interactions and coordination.
· Knowledge and experience in Power BI.
· Familiarity with Agile development methodologies for adaptive project management.
· Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Exceptional time-management skills
