We are looking for a Support Engineer to join one of our client’s technical teams, acting as the bridge between Customer Support and Engineering.

You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, analyze logs and APIs, and provide actionable insights to help resolve incidents quickly and effectively.

Role Overview

As a Support Engineer at CodingIT, you’ll reproduce, diagnose, and document complex customer issues requiring engineering-level investigation.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers to provide clear, structured reports and help prevent recurring incidents.

This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys debugging, understanding distributed systems, and improving reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reproduce and diagnose customer-reported issues in staging or controlled environments.

  • Investigate logs, API traffic, database queries, and telemetry data to identify root causes.

  • Document reproduction steps, findings, and technical details for engineering review.

  • Collaborate with the Customer Support team to communicate progress, findings, and workarounds.

  • Monitor system health and application performance using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

  • Participate in daily/weekly SCRUM meetings to review incident trends.

  • Develop small scripts, dashboards, or utilities to streamline troubleshooting.

  • Contribute to internal documentation with troubleshooting guides and known issues.

  • Support post-incident reviews with actionable insights for prevention.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3 years in software support, QA, or entry-level engineering.

  • Tech Stack: At least 1 year working with C# / .NET
  • Familiarity with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Application Insights, Log Analytics, etc.).

  • Knowledge of:
  • REST APIs and debugging techniques (authentication, response codes, payloads).

  • SQL Server and data access fundamentals.

  • Entity Framework or similar ORM tools.

  • Networking and distributed system concepts.

  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience using monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.

  • Scripting experience (PowerShell or Python).

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and ticket tracking tools (Azure DevOps).

  • Exposure to event-driven or message-based architectures.
