What you’ll learn

• A high-level knowledge of the history of software testing
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and the role of Testing professionals in it
• Understanding of testing terminology such as Static and Dynamic Testing, Requirement Analysis, Software Testing Methods, Software Testing Levels, Testing Pyramid, Functional and Non-Functional Testing Types, etc.
  
  
• A basic grasp of test planning, tasks and goals
• Familiarity with basic testing techniques
• Hands-on experience with defect workflows and reporting
• Knowledge on how to create an industry-standard Test Result report
• Hands-on experience with software development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, Extreme Programming, Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development
• Knowledge of Test Automation fundamentals, its pros and cons as well as common challenges and Agile Testing Quadrants and the Test Pyramid
• Hands-on experience with Git and other version control tools to perform basic tasks such as branching, undoing changes, tags and remotes

• English level of B2 or higher
